The Private Jet Specialist Companion ("the extension") is published by Private Jet Specialist (privatejetspecialist.com).

Data we collect: none that identifies you

The extension does not require an account, an email address, or a login. It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or fingerprinting.

Data stored locally in your browser

With your explicit input, the extension stores the following in your browser via Chrome's synced storage (so your settings follow you across your own signed-in devices):

  • Your saved home airport and watched routes (airport/metro codes you enter)
  • Alert preferences (instant vs. daily digest, polling frequency, price caps, party size)
  • IDs of empty-leg listings you have already seen (to avoid repeat alerts)

This data never leaves your browser except through Chrome's own sync mechanism, which is governed by Google's privacy policy. We do not operate servers that receive it.

Network requests

  • The extension periodically fetches the public empty-leg listings feed from privatejetspecialist.com to check for matches against your watchlist. These requests contain no personal data.
  • When you click an alert, a banner, or a context-menu item, the extension opens privatejetspecialist.com (or a Villiers listing link) in a new tab — the same as clicking a link yourself.

Permissions and why

  • alarms — poll the empty-leg feed on your chosen schedule
  • notifications — show the empty-leg alerts you asked for
  • storage — keep your watchlist and preferences
  • contextMenus — "Estimate private charter" right-click option
  • Host access to privatejetspecialist.com and google.com/travel/flights — fetch the feed, open deep links, and detect the route in your Google Flights search

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell personal data. We share no personal data with third parties, because we collect none. If you choose to request charter options, you do so on privatejetspecialist.com / Villiers under their own privacy policy.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
