What is the difference between a jet card, membership and fractional ownership?

A jet card generally prepays flight time or funds an account. A membership provides access under a program agreement, with fees and funding rules that vary. Fractional ownership buys an aircraft share; a lease is a separate way to obtain access without buying that share. Compare the specific contract, because marketing labels overlap.

Which providers offer both a jet card and fractional options?

Airshare, Flexjet, NetJets and PlaneSense publish both card and fractional offerings in the sources linked here. Compare the products separately: terms described for a share or lease do not automatically apply to the card.

Is every flight card for a jet?

No. Tradewind’s Goodspeed Card is for Pilatus PC-12 turboprop travel. Aircraft type belongs in the comparison alongside price, access and the commitment you make.

What should I compare before funding a program?

Request written terms for the initial payment, recurring fees, occupied-hour charges, minimum flight time, peak dates, service area, cancellation, replacement aircraft and unused funds. For ownership or leasing, also examine the term and exit provisions. Ask each provider to price the same representative trips.

About this directory

This is a selected directory of published jet cards, memberships and fractional programs. Listings are alphabetical; inclusion is not a service or safety ranking. The official links beside each provider are the sources for its program description. Providers may offer other products, and an advertised program is not confirmation of availability for your trip.

Our company reviews provide additional context where available. They retain their own research dates. The comparison questions are our editorial guidance; we have not tested these programs or audited their performance. Official program links on this page carry no affiliate tracking.
