Dates, venue and event access

The festival’s official site announces the 2027 dates. Its visitor guidance describes badge-controlled access around the Palais and Riviera, but detailed guidance still labeled 2026 should not be treated as the 2027 timetable. Confirm your accreditation category, screening admission and collection process when the new edition’s instructions are available. A hotel reservation or private aircraft arrival does not establish red-carpet access. Festival de Cannes ↗ Festival de Cannes ↗

Compare the arrival airports

Choose the airport only after the operating carrier has assessed the actual aircraft, passenger load, baggage and flight dates. The published facilities below establish useful starting points; our trip-fit advice is editorial analysis, not confirmation of a parking space or landing permission.

Airport options for Cannes Film Festival; confirm current acceptance with the operating carrier.
AirportPublished referenceWhat to compare
Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE)Nice publishes dedicated business aviation facilities. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport ↗Compare it for the proposed aircraft and international itinerary. Include the onward road journey to Cannes, not just the flight arrival time.
Cannes-Mandelieu (CEQ)Cannes-Mandelieu publishes airport and operating information. Cannes-Mandelieu Airport ↗Ask the operating carrier to confirm aircraft performance, permitted times and arrival formalities. Nearness to Cannes does not establish suitability for a particular jet.

Build the arrival around your first commitment

Work backward from the first confirmed meeting or screening, allowing time to collect any badge, check into the hotel and change. For a long-haul arrival, the preceding day offers more resilience than landing shortly before a premiere. Give the flight coordinator a dated list of commitments so that a tentative invitation does not silently become the schedule’s fixed point.

Plan the final transfer

Use the actual hotel, screening venue and permitted vehicle approach in the chauffeur plan. A Cannes address can mean the Croisette, a hilltop residence or another venue with a very different pickup. Ask how evening road controls and pedestrian areas affect the last part of the journey. Keep a separate contact for guests whose screening finishes at another time.

Give the return flight a workable window

Late screenings and dinners should be compared with the proposed airport’s accepted departure window. If the itinerary cannot comfortably support a same-night takeoff, request a next-morning option. Where the aircraft parks away from the arrival airport, have the provider explain where you will board and how much notice it needs to change the collection time.

Compare the complete trip price

Ask for airport handling, parking or repositioning, crew accommodation and driver standby across the actual festival days you attend. Confirm whether the quote includes only transport or any independently verified hospitality service. Price changes caused by a revised premiere invitation should be explained before the flight contract is accepted.

No live aircraft inventory or event-specific charter price is published here. Ask each provider for a written proposal naming the operating carrier, aircraft or agreed substitution terms, included charges, payment schedule and cancellation conditions. Use our charter cost guide to compare the same itinerary.

Send a useful charter brief

Include accreditation status, confirmed screening and meeting times, hotel, formalwear and luggage, all passenger pickup points and an overnight fallback after your final event.

Add origin airport, local dates and preferred times, passenger count, baggage dimensions, accessibility needs and the flexibility you have on either end. Confirm which airport and handling arrangements are accepted and which remain provisional. Keep event admission, accommodation and transport responsibilities explicit.

Plan your charter and request a quote

The Events directory covers other major sporting, cultural and yachting trips. Compare provider reviews before choosing a service.

Frequently asked questions

Can a private jet booking get me into a Cannes premiere?

No automatic access follows from chartering an aircraft. Accreditation, screening tickets and invitations must be arranged through the relevant authorized channels. Ask any package seller to identify the exact access included and how it will be issued.

Does the charter include tickets or event hospitality?

Only if a written, verified package specifically says so. Otherwise, book admission, invitations, accommodation and ground transport separately. Aircraft access does not confer access to a sporting venue, art preview, yacht or private reception.

How early should I request an event charter?

Start when the attendance dates and party size are clear, and ask the provider about the lead time for the specific aircraft, airports and event. A preliminary quote is not a reservation; confirm payment terms, accepted handling arrangements and the change policy before committing.
