Dates, venue and event access

The official ticketing page announces the 2027 dates. The organizer’s practical guide identifies Vieux Port and Port Canto, while some operational details remain labeled 2026. Confirm the new edition’s entry products, exhibitor locations, shuttle arrangements and daily hours before fixing a tight schedule. Yacht boarding, broker meetings and sea trials should be agreed with the exhibitor rather than assumed from general admission. Cannes Yachting Festival ↗ Cannes Yachting Festival ↗

Compare the arrival airports

Choose the airport only after the operating carrier has assessed the actual aircraft, passenger load, baggage and flight dates. The published facilities below establish useful starting points; our trip-fit advice is editorial analysis, not confirmation of a parking space or landing permission.

Airport options for Cannes Yachting Festival; confirm current acceptance with the operating carrier.

Nice Côte d’Azur (NCE)Nice publishes dedicated business aviation facilities. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport ↗Request an accepted arrival and handling plan plus the road journey to your Cannes base. Choose it on the complete itinerary, not an assumed transfer duration.

Build the arrival around your first commitment

Consider reaching Cannes the day before your first viewing, especially if a broker has reserved a narrow appointment window. A hotel near one harbour may be convenient for that day’s meetings but less useful for the other. Send the provider a first-night address and a short schedule of confirmed appointments rather than simply requesting a flight to the Riviera.

Plan the final transfer

Group yacht appointments by harbour to avoid repeatedly crossing town. Ask exhibitors for the berth, entrance and host contact, then check the current show transport arrangements when published. Leave luggage at the hotel or in agreed storage; do not plan to carry flight cases along the pontoons between viewings. Set a distinct pickup point for an evening dinner away from the show.

Give the return flight a workable window

If the final appointment is a sea trial, allow for it to finish later than a shore meeting. Compare an evening flight with departure the following morning and confirm how much notice the operator needs for a time change. Your return may use a different FBO or airport if the jet has repositioned, so keep the driver’s instructions synchronized.

Compare the complete trip price

Ask for the cost of the full stay, including positioning, handling, parking, crew nights and transport between the hotel and both harbours. Compare a one-day buying visit with a longer show stay using the same passenger and baggage assumptions. Sea trials and yacht-purchase services are distinct from the air charter and should have their own written arrangements.

No live aircraft inventory or event-specific charter price is published here. Ask each provider for a written proposal naming the operating carrier, aircraft or agreed substitution terms, included charges, payment schedule and cancellation conditions. Use our charter cost guide to compare the same itinerary.

Send a useful charter brief

Specify each harbour and berth, confirmed viewing or sea-trial windows, hotel, luggage, number of guests and whether the final day can run into the evening.

Add origin airport, local dates and preferred times, passenger count, baggage dimensions, accessibility needs and the flexibility you have on either end. Confirm which airport and handling arrangements are accepted and which remain provisional. Keep event admission, accommodation and transport responsibilities explicit.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show?

The published 2027 dates are September 7–12 in Cannes and September 22–25 in Monaco. There is a gap between the shows, so compare one extended Riviera stay with separate visits; do not treat them as consecutive days.

Does the charter include tickets or event hospitality?

Only if a written, verified package specifically says so. Otherwise, book admission, invitations, accommodation and ground transport separately. Aircraft access does not confer access to a sporting venue, art preview, yacht or private reception.

How early should I request an event charter?

Start when the attendance dates and party size are clear, and ask the provider about the lead time for the specific aircraft, airports and event. A preliminary quote is not a reservation; confirm payment terms, accepted handling arrangements and the change policy before committing.
