Historical reconstruction. Former services and terms describe the archived business.
What shaped a charter rate
The archived page explained that carriers set rates according to aircraft size and range, airports, flying time, overnight crew expenses, deicing, and hangar requirements. It also promoted repositioning flights sold as empty legs.
How the former service quoted trips
The 2007 service advertised a final price for a specified aircraft make and model, including taxes and surcharges. It described no separate hourly overrun, taxi-time, repositioning, or deadhead charges. Special catering and onboard telephone use were described as exceptions.
The terms advertised in 2007
Standard charter fares were presented as refundable until 24 hours before departure, with tighter conditions for discounted fares. The page linked to a member fare guarantee and described using loyalty points for certain extras. These were the former service’s advertised terms; current proposals have their own pricing and cancellation conditions.
