Operator assessment

The 2007 page described a layered review of operators, aircraft, and crews. It emphasized recurrent training, crew coordination, maintenance staffing, inspection records, and the correction of reported defects.

Checks for each flight

Its proposed flight review examined aircraft equipment and damage history, the operator’s authority for that aircraft, pilot qualifications and experience, accident or enforcement records, and insurance. The page explained that personnel and fleets change, so an operator review alone was insufficient.

Programs discussed in the original page

The source referred to Department of Defense approval, IS-BAO, ARG/US Gold and Platinum ratings, Wyvern, and screening by fractional-ownership programs. Availability varied by region and aircraft category. These references describe the 2007 screening approach and do not establish a current rating or approval for any operator.
